| To get some more power, I am thinking about going with this. You get another 100hp and 239lbs of torque on the 4.6liter truck engine I have. Price is 1769.99 http://www.4wheelparts.com/Performance-Parts/Banks-PowerPack-System-Performance-Kit.aspx?t_c=74&t_s=391&t_pt=8444&t_pl=6780&t_pn=GBE48537The ultimate power system for working and towing applications, PowerPack has Banks' full gamut of intake, exhaust, fuel tuning and intercooling upgrades for the working truck. It delivers mighty best gains: +100 hp and +239 lb-ft (rear wheel) of tow-all-day power with optimum engine efficiency and durability, adjust-on-the-fly power, lower exhaust gas temperatures and virtually no backpressure. PowerPack is engineered to safely live within the limits of the working truck engine and powertrain. And with the OttoMind®6's Fuel Economy mode, you'll get more driving between fill-ups, too!;Banks iQ is over 5 inches of awesome! Use it for total control of your Tuner. Achieve best gains with a touch of your finger. Set and monitor EGT, coolant temps and a vast array of other engine parameters. Time performance runs. Scan/define/clear vehicle diagnostic codes. Open and read your Microsoft Office documents. Work with the on-screen keyboard and calculator, watch videos, view pictures, listen to your favorite music, and much more. Banks iQ is so useful, you'll want to take it everywhere. With its rechargeable battery and out-of-vehicle portability, you can!;Now you can plug in a Banks Diesel Tuner and/or Banks SpeedBrake™ and use the 5" color touch screen Banks iQ for adjusting power levels, controlling your downhill cruising speed, adjusting the braking intensity, custom tuning numerous performance parameters, measuring vehicle performance, reading your altitude and GPS corrected speed, and more all on the fly! What do you all think of this? They dont make a Supercharger, or a turbo system for the 4.6 liter 2005 truck motor. Seems like decent power for cost. Since nothing else is made for it. You think 239lbs of torque would be noticeable towing the boat? | |

| I put a bunch of Banks stuff on my F250 when I had a diesel. I was deeply disappointed in the Banks products. The exhaust really didn't have any sound, the performance gain was really pitiful, and I really didn't notice any difference with their intake elbow. I ended up keeping the exhaust and bought a Hypertech tuner. That made a huge difference. I would definitely consider something else. | |

| That sounds like an aweful amount of HP/TQ for bolt-ons and a tune. I would like to see some before and after dyno charts. If the claims are true thats an awesome bang for the buck. | |

Agreed! I wonder if you can get the Saleen supercharger to bolt up to your truck engine. There can't be that much difference between the truck and mustang 4.6L engines. | |
