| The Waynesburg Flashlight drags open in May. Jared suggested we all meet somewhere for breakfast and roll up together. If we can get 20 or so cars from the site to go up it would we a pretty impressive line. So start planning now and post in this thread if you plan on going. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]If you have never been there. Waynesburg is a half hour north of Morgantown. Its a 1/8 mile with no timing system. They wave you up to the line and then a girl will flash a big spotlight. The nice thing about it when you are not racing you go back to the pits. Then you can either flag someone down that is getting back from a race or you ask another person in the pits if they want to race. In other words, you pick your race. If not, you can go into the singles line and you just race whoever is in front or behind you. Let me know if you are racing or spectating and I will keep this list updated. RACING:D-Rod V8 lol WV_Wagon 91fbody Instantlunitic Kaleb Jolly Roger (possibly spectating) SPECTATING:Dark Sol will be at Carlise and only specatating if there is live coverage on the sprint now network. :llooll: Silverflatty

| You already know i'm in... lol
we need to decide where to meet. i think morgantown would be best since everyone south of here has to drive north anyway...lol
EDIT. 91fbody (william) is going to run too, but im not signing out so he can sign in. Does his car have to have a full interior?

| Here are the rules to run but there are alot of guys that bring non-street legal cars on slicks. There was a Dart last year with a 6' wheelie bar sticking out the back. lol
+ DOT Tires – Required (No slicks) + Current State Registration - Required + Proof of Insurance - Required + Valid Drivers License - Required + No Passengers + Safety Belts must be worn + Convertibles - tops up or bring a helmet + Vehicles must be driven in - No Trailers + Burn outs in designated areas only + Driver must wear wristband on left wrist + Altered Gas Performance Events waiver must be signed + Drivers must attend the drivers’ meeting prior to the start of each event

Racing right? I may take the bike too and take turns racing each. I know the guy in charge if you want me to see what the charge would be to setup the mobile dyno.

| I appreciate the offer but I's rather just come and run the bike and my car. I'll leave the dyno work for another day. But thank you very much. | |

| Okay. Just wondering. Were getting his car at my house the morning of. Worst case scenario, ill just strip it in the pits while he goes to the drivers meeting. | |

| Haha I might have to make sure I put some drag radials on before this. 900+hp and a track that isnt prepped my give me the edge I need in the 1/8th.
This will be the first time I get to race by buddy in the ZR1 too.
Usually there are so many people there for the first couple runs that you have to wait forever. I always run the first one and then go to the pits for a bit and let the crowd die down.
The last one they let everyone race for a couple hours and then they broke it up into classes. They had ford, chevy, dodge, and pontiac. They also broke it down farther and did an all corvette and mustang class. I had to watch because it was the week after I snapped and axle at PRP.

He should be good with no interior. All he needs is a drivers seat.

| You should beat me all day in the 1/8". I was just pulling your chain. Traction on that kind of track will kill me. I may even swap pulleys and tune to help out a little. But still your 1000 lbs lighter. Now give me a 1/4 mile and we'll see. | |

| It would be a fun race to watch though because I would get off the line a little better but then you will start pulling on me hard once you hook up. Kinda like this race. This was my old car. I was giving up 300RWHP to this KB GT500. It was closer than it looked at the end. I only had him by a fender. (He wasnt used to all that power in his car. Listen to him hit the rev limiter twice)

Alot of people say there is no benifit to doing a burnout if you are on street tires. I still did just to clean my tires off and put a little heat to them. They put water down to make it easy. I roll through the water easy and wait till I get to the damp part of the other side so I dont throw water all over my fender walls that can drip off while you are racing and put some moisture on your tire. Sooooo, are you in? Its really layed back and informal. Nothing to be nervous about doing. Its organized street racing...no staging lights or anything confusing. Pull up, wait for the spotlight, and hit the gas.

Yup, that's PRP. It has a lot more goodies put on it since it was last run up at there. The best times I could get out of it (on street tires) were upper 15.10s- low 15.20s. It was in the low-mid 90mph range so I think I'll be in the 14's come this season. The tranny is a slushbox so I'm getting a street/strip one this month that'll really slam it into gear! :wootwoot:
