| I copied this from my site but thought I would share what i've been up too here. Looked like this when I bought it brand new in July of 2008. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]First thing I had to do was get rid of the ugly fender! Ebay license plate bracket with LEDs FTW! And Some Frame Sliders. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then it was time for exhaust. I cut the damn cat off and put an 06-07 akra shorty on it. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then it was running rich and backfiring. So I bought a PCIII and blocked off the pair valve. I didn't really like the look of my frame sliders so I found some nicer ones and put a tinted windscreen. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]$5 GSXR Pinstripes from D2Moto.com (Best $5 I ever spent!) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Want to get a couple parts powder coated black sometime. But I'll probably wait until it gets put back inside for winter though. Update 10/30 Got some adjustable shorty levers in the mail! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Comparison [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Before [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]After [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]but i cant test them out until spring : ( Update 12/9 little update the bike is in a million pieces. i had to take the fairings off and the entire front clip apart just to do a retrofit. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]comparison between the stock 2.5" to a 3" lens [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]2.5" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]3" [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Highs are going to be a DDM 35w 4500k kit and the projector will stay on. Low is an oem nissan ballast with a 3" landrover projector. Have some cutting to do to fit that 3" projector. Also have to find space to mount 3 ballast then wire everything up. The last part i need should be coming this saturday but i'll probably start working on mounting that 3" projector this week. Update 1/31/11 Did a little work this weekend... Finally cut enough to fit the 3" projector and got it mounted. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]still have to get the projector a little more secure and some wiring to do but it will be going back together soon. Update 3/7/11 made some progress and got the light aimed correctly. The low beam drops about 1" every ~25ft. low beam [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]high beam (still have to wire up the hid projector for highs) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]almost done just a few tweaks to the wiring, seal the back of the headlight and then reassemble everything

| Bike looks great tony. I agree the $5 on the wheel pinstriping was well spent.
I want to see how my victory does against a 600 in the 1/8. Wanna bring that thing to the flashlight drags?

| thanks man and is that a nice way to challenge me to a race? I've been wanting to take it to a drag strip so I'm down for that. I want to go to a 1/4 mile track though.
what does that chopper do in 1/4?

| I will get murdered in 1/4. My bike is all TQ. It put down 118RWHP and 119TQ. The HP # isnt bad but its a heavy bike compared to a rocket.
Not sure what it will do in the 1/4.

| BTW- You did all those mods but are still on stock gearing? Change that gearing -1 +3 and you will dominate me in 1/8. Gearing is the absolute best mod you can do to a 600 hands down. I know the gearing is high from the factory because they want to make it race ready but for the street you miss out of all the low end TQ. Plus you cant do tank wheelies on a 600 with stock gearing. (at least I couldnt) | |

| for now the parts are in the mail though. I ordered the Driven Chain kit with black sprockets (-1 +2) and gold RK GXW chain. also got this super tiny speedo healer. why would you go -1 +3? i've never attempted a tank wheelie so i cant anwser your question... :roll4: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| +2 or +3 in the rear is pretty similar. Naturally you will notice the biggest change when you drop a front tooth. The type of ridding I did.....the lower the gearing the better. | |

| Worked on it until midnight last night and almost done. 4 pieces left to put on: Both fairings and both ram air covers. Just need to go get some double sided automotive tape to mount the ballast on the inner fender and put it back together. Then i need to change the oil and she is ready to ride!
