| It sounds like a beast, lol. I'm curious as to what that quad tip exhaust is going to look like. I think it might be a little too much for that car. | |

Agreed. I really don't like too many cars with quad tips. It should definitely be a brute as long as it can put the power to the road. I think they need to do an independent rear suspension setup again. That would help greatly but if I could afford one, this one might be the one to buy!

| Factory R-comps is a huge plus for all those comparisons that run them with factory tires on a track. Can you imagine if Corvette's came with factory R-comps (although the Pilot Sport Cups basically are now). | |

| 650HP car and we are talking about exhaust tips? lol You guys need to get your priorities straight. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I cant wait to see how this car performs. Lets hope it puts the power to the ground. I sure would like to see Ford come back out with the GT and throw this motor in it with a smaller pulley. I would think it would def be a supercar contender. | |

| Love the back end, not loving the front.
Is that beast not intercooled? If it is I can't spot it in the rendering.

| the intercooler is in between the blower and the intake manifold. its about 2-3 inches tall, pretty much the entire base of the SS | |

Yep. Sure did. My 4.6 had twin throttle bodies as well. The 5.0 does not.

"Technically" its one throttle body, with two butterflies.

| oh and i just found this out today. This new beast can go over 200mph. I assume it goes like 201-202 and not 220, not the most aerodynamic car ever made lol | |

| You'd be surprised, the Prius, which looks like a shoe, has a lower drag coefficient than the Corvette. It's not about being aerodynamic so much as it is about being stable and having adequate downforce at that speed. | |

| Nothing against mustangs, but I would not wanna be in the first one to ever break 200mph and be a production car. It takes alot of design to do that 200mph thing safely, and personally I wouldnt wanna be in a car that is not known for it on multiple years. | |

| back in 1969-1970 Ford did testing with the Boss' and Mach 1's. Three different engines were used, 302, 351 and 429. Test site was the salt lake beds. each car broke 200mph and that was with technology that is 40+ years old. i'd feel a bit safer in a 2013 lol | |
