| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I figured it wasn't gonna take long to revive the Dart. Hopefully it'll be off the Avenger platform and have a Hemi shoved in it.... As I'm reading... >What the hell, a compact car Dart? Well, I guess, I doubt a Hemi will fit though, just make it retro... >"powerful (4 cylinder) engines including the 1.4L MultiAir® Turbo" Yep, I'm losing hope FAST. But, just make it retro and at least resemble a classic Dart... >"based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta" Yep, I'm gonna hate it. A Dart this is not. | |

| ummm i dunno. they really need to NOT f*ck this one up! If it does take the place of the Caliber, that'll make it the cheap four banger... but hopefully they have an srt4 or something that will turn big numbers | |

| [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I have a feeling this is going to be like the last batch of Novas Chevy made. From a nice muscle car reduced to an econobox. Who's going to be the first to put a 340 in one? | |

I wouldn't really mind it not having a Hemi, but at least make it look like a retro Dart like they did with the Challengers! I hope they put another name on this.

| the rear end takes after the charger but the front end def not. Its more or less going to fill the gap where the neon left off in 05. the caliber was a horrible excuse for an economy car (and ugly at that) i just hope they dont kill the dart on styling, especially the interior. Yes an srt version would be great but i wont hold my breath... | |

| I actually kinda like it.... as long as its not set up with the same sub frame and suspension as the Caliber, I'd give it a chance. | |

| I find it interesting also that they ditched analog gauges for a 7-inch screen. | |

| going with the modern times, which is great, if they put the interior screens on a diff electrical system... which I would assume they did. | |

| It's honestly not too shabby, but I'm pretty disappointed they put the Dart name on it though. I'm pretty sure I won't be seeing any of these at the Mopar Nationals like when the new Challengers came out lol | |

| "Pics leaked out ahead of the official unveil in Detroit this coming week. Based on the Alfa Romeo's Giulietta platform, the 2013 Dart will be available with three engines: a turbo 1.4 liter, a 2.0 liter, and a 2.4 liter, with an R/T version available. You'll have your choice of an auto or 6 speed manual. Anyway, looks good and is a long overdue replacement for the Neon (let's just pretend the Caliber never happened)." [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Doesn't look like they're planning on a SRT model just yet | |

Doesn't look like they're planning on a SRT model just yet [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I'd give it a year or 2 and you'll probably see one, especially if the Dart takes off. I'll say one thing, I kinda like how this car looks so much that if it did come with a AWD option, which it most likely won't, I'd seriously consider trading the Jeep for it if the price was right.

| I actually saw an article on yahoo autos about the Dart GTS which looked great but didn't reveal any motor specs... carbon hood, roof, and trunk... larger gun metal wheels... but I can't find the damn thing agian.. as soon as I track it down, I'll post up a link | |

| Now that sounds pretty intriguing too. Seriously if they pay attention to what the heck they're doing and not screw it up, Chrysler can potentially do some really cool things with this car. | |

| Based on an Alfa means it will probably look halfway decent (check), the engines will probably sound good, it will have a quirky interior (which chrysler will manipulate for the US market to be bland as hell) (half-check) and it will start falling apart after 3 months. | |
