FriendlyCarPeople Dyno Day

I am still working out the details, but who all would be interested in going once this year before the snow flys?
This would be for FriendlyCarPeople only. If your interested.. let me know so I can get a count to discuss prices for us.

I know I would be in, I wanna see how much power the Solstice makes before getting a turbo or S/C.

Most likely be the first or second week of November?

I know I am in as long as it is reasonable.

Looks like to do this.. we are going to need 12 cars @ 50.00

He can do top speed runs of up to 170mph also, so that would be cool to use one of your runs for that.
Im curious how fast the solstice will go with a load.

So lets start a list of who will go.

where would this be at and what type of dyno do they use?

Mustang Dyno and it would be near UnionTown.

Morgan, for 50.00 you could actually find out how fast your car is on the top speed dyno part. That would be neat eh?

yea! i just didnt know if that was like anything that would be neat cuz im so stock.. :biggrin: I have 3 interviews tmr and if i get one of the jobs then its a def go cuz ill either pay off my tc and get a new car too have also or trade in the tC for a new tC and turbo it :) so i can c a difference!! if u think it would be cool i will def go! lol I've always wondered but its not like i have a fast car like u all do hehehe!

Dyno days are fun as long as we get a big group to go. I was just on his dyno a couple weeks ago so no reason for me to do it again but I will go to hang out and watch.

Just be carefull.....you all might get the itch while you are there and have Tim start ordering you a bunch of parts. :)

BTW- He normally charges $50 for one pull. On dyno days you will get 3. This is really cool for you guys with handheld tuners. You can pull the tune and find out exactly how much HP you gain from it.

Like Scott said, it is a mustang dyno. They normally read lower than other dyno's because they are load bearing. However, it is a realistic and acurate number.

Depending on when we'll be doing this, count Foxrod in! Maybe it'll set a record for lowest hp!

I would like to see the two Foxbodys line up sometime. Next year we def need a FCP day at the flashligh drags. You dont have to have a racecar to go and have fun. Actually my mom was thinking of entering her Maxima if she could talk my aunt into entering her car. lol

This sounds like a lot of fun! But, also a big possibility of blowing up my daily driver, lol. I need to see if I can figure out my detonation problem before I can commit.

I have to agree. We need to see about getting a weekend this coming season and making an FCP event out of it. We can setup together and those that want to run can run whoever. Would be a lot of fun!

i'd probably go up again... might try to order my cai and see if it adds anything... but im kinda in d-rods shoes... went up a couple months ago and haven't done anything to it... also is it on a saturday or sunday... saturday can't b/c of class...

If we have 12 people yes. It will take that many people to have an exclusive day for FCP only.

having to redo the down pipe off the turbo right now it keeps hitting the fan, and the crank pulley.
