That wont be hard.....Its a blast, plus you gotta let that V8 run a little in between those car shows. My car probably wishes I liked car shows a little more. lol That would give it a break.

No but if I still have the C5 next year I will probably do some road courses with it.

I'd love to race, but the old man won't let me. He says it will kill my engine since it has 145K miles on it. I am trying to rebuild my honda 400ex to race tho

i'd like to do a road course one time just to get the feel of the car to see what it can do- my first v8 car and no where to open it up here

haha. idk about that. Im getting ready to buy a gsxr 600 in the morning. how about you keep the 450r, and we go riding/racing when i get mine in good condition?

i'll probably take mine to the track when its ready.. hopefully by the end of summer.

I'm excited to just go to the track and take pics of you guys racing to be honest.

I've had my cars on the track at Summit Point, Talledega Gran Prix and Kingston, Ontario. It wasn't real racing but what they call "Test and Tune". You can only pass on the straights when the other driver waves you by. It's still fun and you get to run wide open. I've run some auto-x at Cumberland Airport. The Mon Valley Sports Car Club ran an auto-x at WVU Hospital last month. There were some nice cars there. A Porsche 911, Lotus Elise, and an old Morgan among them. My SC at Kingston:

I'm hoping the Mon Valley Club will get something going locally. I got tired of the drive to Cumberland though there are some really cool cars running there. It's mostly a big competition between the Steel City Corvettes and the Chesapeake Porsche Club though the Cobra Club was getting better. I heard the local Corvette Club ran auto-x at Robert C Byrd High School last summer.

i guess i have been on a track- i did the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway a couple years ago. my boss brought us down to do it- was only allowed to go 130 and i went 128 and then i did the ride as well (since the boss was payin) and they got upto 185 and it feels a lot different and they tuck up against teh wall- was pretty cool
