New daily driver

I've been trying to get a hatchback with manual trans for quite some time from Hyundai, Kia, and Ford. Ford was the first to get me one so they won.

2012 Fiesta

I went from a '92 Corolla to a 2012 Fiesta. There's quite a difference moving up 20 years.

Nice looking ride. Not a huge fan of the mini cars but Ford has done a nice job with the Fiesta and Focus now!

I owned one of the original Fiestas back in 1980. They've come a long way.

I'm sure it's being done but I want this one for the gas mileage.

congrat's on the new ride... I knew you were debating on a few different ones... what made you decide on the Ford? or was the manual tranny the whole selling point?

I really wanted the Hyundai because of the 6 speed and rear disc brakes but they never found one for me. I was also not happy with the $900 market adjustment they've added to all their cars. I got employee pricing on the Fiesta because my brother works there. That knocked $1500 off. The Fiesta doesn't have the power of the Hyundai but it's supposed to have better handling. I haven't found out yet. The weather was so nice today, I hit the twisties in the MR2.

I drove a Fiesta.....the handleing is unreal.
