..Just realized I don't have a built thread for this bad boy, So Here goes (copied from my intro..lol)

Lets start off with a little background. She started off as a bone stock ESi turd, But it was my turd, and I loved her. So naturally I did what any young car enthusiast would do, I cleaned her everyday, and did little things, here and there.

Here are a few pics From the Early days of my DSM addiction (est 2007)

First day of ownership:

Cleaned her up, and snapped these:

After that I did little things, Like intake, exhaust, ETC, then My interest kind of tapered off, untill one fatefull day, I got into a pissing match over on a dsm forum, WAYYY back in the day, and decided that It was time for some boost.

Pics and modlist from the first turbo setup (2009):

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

and the modlist form that "era"
engine:
stock bottom end
9.8:1 compression ratio
new top end
New auto transmission

mods
Tinted windows
16" wheels
2.5 turbo back exhaust
12:1 fuel management unit (FMU)
Taillight blackouts

Turbo setup:
cast log style top mount exhaust manifold
cxracing .57trim t3/t4 hibryd turbo
custom 2.5" intercooler piping
type-s blowoff valve
3 layer silicone couplers
ball and spring boost controller
3 pod a pillar guages (boost, Air fuel, oil pressure)
xspower 38mm wastegate
-4an ss oil feed line
-10an ss oil drain line
38mm wastegate open dump tube
Front mount intercooler

That setup was on the car for roughly a year, and long story short, I let a girl dive my car, The end. The line to the wastgate heatsoaked and cracked, and the car overboosted ALOT, then died.

At this point in time I decided it was Time to build myself a monster. This is also about the time my life got really busy, and hectic... Any way, I was not really concerned with working on the car, because at the time, I had my TSi AWD to rely on, for a while. But that quickly came to an end when a mail man decided to Illegally park in a blind corner, thusly totalling my 1g :(

Fast forward a bit, I was enrolled in college, needed a car, and had limited funds. I had the 2g sitting in the driveway waiting, So I sent her off for a new engine. Shortly after the new engine, some asshat decided to back into me, cracking my talon bumper, so I put on a 2gb eclipse bumper I had, while I fixed the talon bumper

Here are the most recent pictures I have (nothing has changed, except for the wheels):

She currently only has an intake, and exhaust, as well as a few other odds and ends.

On to the Pics of the "project itself"

teardown:

ACL main bearings
Eagle Rods
ARP rod Bolts
Wiseco pistons
Wiseco Piston Rings
crower stage 2 cams
Crower Valvesprings
Crower Spring retainers
ARP head studs
Cometic head gasket

The turbo setup is still up in the air as of now, Ive been reding up on holsets (what my original intent was) and have opted for another route..

Stay tuned for updates!!
