I am creating this build thread for her, since I am the one doing all the work to her Jeep.

So far the jeep is fully stock except I replaced the mirrors yesterday. Here is what I have done so far:

Got the new mirrors in yesterday.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Opened the box to find another box..lol

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Opened that box to find the new mirror housing covers wrapped nice...

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Opened that up to see the chrome.. yea baby

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Took the mirror glass out, removed bolts and clips

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Installed!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Driver side new, passenger side old!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Both sides done!

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Not to bad, but its very delicate, tons, and I mean tons of clips that can be broken very easy!

Now I am planning on ordering some new parts for it, today I ordered foglight bezels to match the grill and mirrors on the car now. They look like this below, I will post more about these when they come in sometime between now and Feb 6th according to ebay.

This is the photo from ebay: Ordered they were 78.00

Should make the jeep look like this once installed.

The jeep looks nice and will be much nicer with those few additions. I will let you know about the Huskyliners. I ordered a set of weatherbeaters for front and back of my truck. They will be here today.

Those look very nice. Its the little things that make it stand out.

A side note, I FINALLY got my HuskyLiners due to UPS forgetting my package in Fairmont 4 days in a row, so I will try to get some pics maybe tomorrow and post on here.

You can call me Eric if you want

I really like the weathertechs. They are really sturdy and fit the car well, just take them out and powerwash them

Cool Eric, I'd actually like to see yours in person, then check out Brians in person and compare, then choose the best for wifey.. Think that would be an option?

I did some looking around when I bought mine between the HuskyLiners WeatherBeaters, and the WeatherTechs. Both were molded and had the same coverage, but the WeatherTechs were $50-$60 more. I couldn't find $60 worth of value or extra protection in the WeatherTechs to justify the added cost. Looking around its a Ford-Chevy thing. Some guys like the Huskys, some like the WTs. Both are going to last a good long time, so its really what you like and how much you want to spend.

i agree that the price is steep but they turned out to be well worth it, the fit looks good and itll be nice not to ruin the carpet in this car like i did in my first car... didnt have the second car long enough to ruin anything
