Great night time video, usually you cant tell what is going on in them.
The exhaust sounds mean, what kind is it? Car a standard? sounds like it the way it racks off when you let off the gas. Very cool!

its a custom 3' straight pipe made by Woodys in SC. not bad for $170 lol. yeah the car is a 5 speed, when this tranny goes (witch it probably will with the new clutch) im gonna do the Spec B 6 speed swap.

Thats cool, will it give you more torgue, but better gas mileage having the extra gear?

not really the 2 gear is lower so i wouldnt have to downshift to 1st in tight turns when i autox. thats about the only advantage.. i cringe every time i revmatch 1st at 35 mph because if my foot slipped off the clutch my tranny is toast lol

No rev limiter?

i have it set at 6800.

i also did some research and right now i top out at 163mph but with the 6 speed ill top 165..

Not sure, I don't know much about cars, Im just really good at following directions. I will say that, I can teach myself how to do just about anything if I want to do it. Im good at researching stuff too before trying things out, so that helps with the fail ratio..lol . I created the site here so I could learn more from people like you, aaron, david, dave, matt and the others that know alot about cars.

not since the mods. when it was it ran an 8.8 in the 1/8th with a hard launch.
on the autox course in go back and forth with the corvettes. :devil:

Sounds like a challenge. :) I have thought about taking the z06 to a road course or auto-cross but I'm scared to death I will do something stupid and ding the car all up. I just sold an '02 corvette that I would have loved to beat the piss out of on a road course.

I know I sound like a sissy with the z06 but its my baby. I have had it to the drag strip a couple times though.

lol im always down for a challenge!! thats what i love about autox, its all in how well you know your cars limit and how far your willing to push it...
bring it down! ill bring the painters tape and youll never see a scratch or dent one!
