It used to be that if a car possessed anything over 500 bhp, it was considered a super car. The Ferrari F40 for example pumped out 471 hp from a twin-turbo V8. The Lamborghini Murciélago made 572 bhp from its V12, and the Porsche Carrera GT made 612 bhp from a wicked V10. Then, in 2005 the Bugatti Veyron came out and rewrote the book with its quad-turbo’d W16 that produced 1,001 hp. Are you kidding me? Now, 7 years later a tuner from of all places, Sealy, TX, has come along with a car that pumps out 1,244 bhp and runs to 230 mph in under 20 seconds. The car of course is the 2013 Hennessey Venom GT and it is simply the biggest road going hammer you can buy. Click through and check it out.

thats ridiculous, wonder what the price tag is.

probably one of those things that if you have to ask, you can't afford it... just looks like a stretched out, hopped up Lotus.

Sheesh, the price of one of those in 1200hp form is a million bucks! It'd be a hellllllll of a lot cheaper (and more fun ) to build a 200mph dragster!
