PostSubject: 3rd Gen Camaro   Wed May 30, 2012 4:57 pm

Finally picked up the Camaro yesterday. It sat in a guys garage for two years so I figured I would play hell trying to get it started. Especially since no stable was put in the fuel. Anyways, I aired up the tires, put a jumper box on it and I will be damned if it didnt start in under 3 seconds. Just kinda amazed me. Anyways, here she is. Not sure of the plans now but I might just do a H/C swap and do away with the stock TPI intake that really holds this car back. No matter what it wont be very fast but maybe it will spark an interest in Rachel. Im trying to talk her into racing it at the next FLD's.

BTW- The 305 was taken out years ago and it has a fresh 350ci/300hp mated to a 700r4 tranny. Yes this is the first auto I have ever owned.

Great looking car really.

An auto is perfect for drag racing, a stick is only useful in the turns anyway [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I'll be at the next flashlight drags for certain, hope to see you there! Adam will probably drive my Evo and I the Sky again (the Evo will outrun the Sky now 100% of the time though I fear [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.])

Well go ahead....Dump $10-15 grand in it....Wouldn't be worth the money you wasted in it.

No rust on this Mustang!

10-15k? I'm not looking to go 9's here. $5k would go a long way with this car if I was looking for low 12's-high 11's.
