| Seems like Jeep is going downhill fast these days. Used to be they had a very solid product. I was seriously considering a newer Wrangler but after reading reviews and knowing people that have newer models, I wouldn't buy a newer one. Might have to go old school and pick up an old one! Glad you got yours taken care of though! | |

| Jeep honestly, has been going down hill a lot. from a service adviser's stand point, ever sense 04-05 and up. Not just Wranglers, but the new compass and patriot and the cherokees. Def needs some improving! | |

| Just make sure you keep up on it.... the compass and patriot along with the caliber are built on the same sub frame and suspension set up. They have huge issues with the lower control arm and ball joint assemblies ... and with any Chrysler product, they also have some premature tie rod end problems. | |

| Wow..it's been that long since I posted that sheesh..anyways..
Still running around with it like that. Chrysler says that something could have hit it..blah blah blah..which boils down to they ain't gonna fix it under warranty. I haven't been to bothered with it lately to be honest. I'll get something figured..as long as it's done by the end of April I don't care lol.

| they call them side skirts not running boards i believe. at any rate it doesnt surprise me they wont warranty the part, unless it was under the bumper to bumper warranty still. | |

| Oh ok..running boards was just the first name that popped in my head and I just ran with it lol. Well it was less than a year old at the time and had like 14k miles or so at the time so it would under than..they just simply gave some end runaround excuse to get out of it.
Oh well it's what happens when you build stuff with cheap plastic I guess lol.
