| Spent a good part of the day in the garage working on the civic today, finished fabing the rockers and started laying the plasti dip to the front and areas that I'm finished with. Just have to lay some bondo to seal up the seems along the rockers and prime them up.. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

Most likely... i'm not dumping a huge amount of money into a paint job on a winter/work beater | |

| Finished the bodywork today and got it out of the garage, finally.... turned out better that I had imagined honestly.. All told, had to fab my own rocker pannels and make something out of nothing. Took car of the leaking rear hatch and all the small rust areas along the door jams and under the hood. Cleaned and sprayed the inner fender wells. Cleaned, sealed and primed the spare tire well. IF I EVER HAVE TO WORK WITH BONDO, SHEET METAL OR A RIVET GUN AGAIN, IT'LL BE TOO DAMN SOON! Just in case, if you don't know, I HATE body work. Although I knew it would have to be done when I picked the car up from my uncle. So now it runs like a champ and gets 40+mpg, plus the body is solid.
