What was your first car?

I thought this might be cool.

What was your very first car? one that you bought or was passed down from parents, please post a picture if you can.

I bought this for $600 when i was 15, 1974 jeep cherokee. 360 AMC V8, Quadratrac 4x4

1984 Chevy Celebrity Station Wagon. No pictures of it since it wasn't worth taking pictures of. Put a really bad Chevy taste in my mouth and I have never since bought a Chevy!

1974 Ford F100 with a 460. 2wd... would spin fast enought to sling off the hubcaps. This was no ordinary F100 either, this one had wings that would flap and try to fly as you drove. I got a sticker on it because my dad worked at a dealership, but it had more rust then anything I have ever seen.



I traded my ATV for it, it was a 250 Honda 4trax that was wore out also.

I bought a 1987 Ford Escort GT- had ground effects on it and the sporty spoiler... at first look thought it was a foxbody... wasn't a nice driving car at all- lol and def. no pictures... drove it for a while then thought i put a rod through the motor so sold it for $400 and the guy who bought it got it keyed and got over $2000 out of it [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]



had a slew of cars after this- 12 and counting

'91 Toyota Celica. Bought it for $2,200 when it has 120K miles on it. Drove it to 240K miles and sold it to a buddy for $500. It was a great car.

1989 thunderbird. bought it for 400 bucks and never got to drive it. went to get some brake work done and the car nearly fell off of the lift....... simply because the frame was so rotted and it cracked.

1979 Plymouth Duster my dad let me use...318 and fast got a few tickets with this one... :lol3:

1994 Dodge Shadow. It was pink and that little thing ran like a tank. I bought it my freshman year of college for 500 and drove it until I bought the Aveo in 2004.

Engine was bone stock except for a K&N drop in & 3" Magnaflow CBE w/Dual Tips.
3" Lift with 33" General Grabbers (Same tires I got on the wrx lol)

This truck was in the shop more then it was on the road but thank god I bought the warranty with it. The main reason I got rid of it was b/c I was driving down the rode and the passenger side frame cracked in half. Had it welded back together. Traded the truck in the next day for a RSX b/c I couldn't find a WRX then and the guy gave me $8500 on trade where everyone else gave me $4000 if that.

This.....

98 Cavalier. Bolt-ons, P&P head, juiced. Faster than my WRX believe it or not. It had a spec sheet a mile long. Had it for 9 years before it was totaled. Parted it out for more than what I paid surprisingly.

1990 Honda Accord...dad and mom let me drive this one a lot. This was the car that went kaput that led me to getting the Jeep back in February.

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport. Sold it last October, wish I had it back though.

my tC is my 1st car.

Mine was a 93 pontiac sunbird LE 2.0L 4cyl

hated the car, bought it for 400$ and sold it for 800$ a year later, i still didnt make back the money i put into it just to keep it running.

1979 plym tc3 orange and black. great little car. car would run great all week until I would pick up my girlfriend at the time. would never fail car would quit charging leave us stranded. charge the battery the next day car would charge and run like a champ. girlfriend said the car goes or she would. decided to keep car and ran perfect for next year and a half

These are not my first, but a few that I have had along the way. My first was a 1978 Ford Bronco which was truly a great vehicle....to bad rust got the best of her.

This was my 3rd, a Dodge Ram 50

Then further down the line my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI, loved this car but it cost more than it was worth to keep it running, lol

This was my 1st car. 1993 Geo Tracker convertible. I loved this car! Drove it to school every day!
