I just noticed there's no thread for this toy lol 2005 S281, non-supercharged. 5-speed, 3.55 gears. Goes pretty doggone good and still gets 28mpg. Hardly 10,000 miles on the clock, still has the original rubber. Imagine that, especially on the rear
Had her up and running today, figured I'd post a video of it clearing out.

We've been putting off new tires for a while, they're expensive for this thing!

True! I'm pretty sure the last time we checked they were close to $300 a tire.

I feel lucky to be able to say that riding in this car is more fun than just looking at it!

That sounds awful high for tires! What size are on that one? Mine 2011 has 245/45/ZR19 and run $208 per tire.
She does look nice though......Bring her to the Flashlights......Wouldn't mind spanking the Saleen! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It has P275/35ZR20 tires. They're a pretty penny because of the 20" wheels lol
Thanks! She's already been to the Flashlights, does terrible because it doesn't even bite in 2nd! It was trapping around 90mph though.

Lmao I'll run it by him but especially since we got the dragcar, he hasn't been a fan of all out racing it. It's our only stickshift so we tend to powershift it. If it was built for it we wouldn't mind but those are some hard shifts on a stock clutch. Who knows, I may ask and he'll go for it lol
Regardless, I'm willing to take you on in Foxrod

Depending on how hard I (attempted) to launch the Sky, I trapped between 83 and 87 there at the flashlights. Hope to knock that down a couple mph with the drag radials.

That's pretty quick! I could average 80-85 in the Saleen but dad was up 85-90. His launch and shifting is a little better. As I would expect considering the age and experience difference lol
Foxrod could sprint up 75-80. I'm hoping the new tranny and 3.73 gears will get it going a little better lol

It's all stock according to Saleen specs. Once it gets rolling it takes off and screams. It'll only spin in 2nd with a powershift though.

I can see it with the 475hp SC models, but this things screams. I guess because it still only weighs 3500lbs and has the aero drag of a fish lol
