Honda civic Y7 to Y8 intake manifold swap

So I just got my factory y8 intake for my car. But I keep hearin alot of different stories on what all is or is not gonna interchange. Anybody done this before, or maybe know someone who has? I'm tryin to keep this as simple as possible since this does happen to be my DD!! lol Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!

I'm not completely sure myself... Jason Brashear should know. he's mr. honda himself lol

Never even thought to ask him. His car's the same bodystyle as mine, maybe his has the intake like I'm changin to so I can see what all's different.

Yeah, I screwed up. I'm doin a z6 intake manifold swap on my car! lol I'm thinkin I should take pics so I might be able to help someone else wantin to do the same. It seems pretty straightforward, but we will see..........

Sorry guys, I was way to dirty to take pics! (Didn't wanna touch my phone like that! lol) But if anyone needs help doin this I'd be glad to assist. I can tell you that you'll definitely need a bench grinder, die grinder(with a cutoff wheel and cookies) ,torque wrench, extra coolant hose, extra vacuum hose, and a T for each. It took me about 3 hours to do the whole thing. Wasn't too bad, just got a lil frustrated a couple times!! lol But when it fired up and ran perfect the first time I hit the key, all of that went away in a hurry!! And it definitely runs alot better.
