| How have you guys and gals removed the dealership stickers that they annoyingly put on the back of your car with out doing a job on the paint finish??? I've used a razor blade and goo gone before, but this car is still fairly new and I don't want to mess anything up.... too bad. :serious: | |

| i used a hair dryer and razor blade to get the ricart sticker off- but i need to get some of the glue off still- my boss bought some stuff to get clean it off and it had a citrus smell to it- worked really well on our freightliner getting glue off- i'll have to get the name of it | |

| Sweet. didn't know if there was a better way. You'd think they were selling a Ferrari or something with the way they put their name all over it. | |

| I agree with the hair dryer, and 3m makes a pretty awesome adhesive remover. Use it to take the warning labels off my snowmobile and it doesn't hurt the paint. | |

| i hate those friggin sitckers! but a hair dryer and your finger nail will take them right off. dont have any nails use a razor blade but be carefully! use some type of adhesive remover then wax it. | |

| One thing I told my salesman when I got the Honda - No dealership decal on the car and no holes drilled in the front to put on the front plate holder. I think they are finding most people just don't like the way those things look on the car and we are going to take them off anyway. | |

| I was lucky. The last couple of cars I owned didn't have any dealership stickers on them. | |

| tool [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]eraser wheel [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Best eraser wheel i have ever used. Takes off glue, double side tape, decals, pin stripping... you name it. It is pricey but it is snap on what do you expect. There are a few knock offs out there that do the same thing. A guy at work has one and i use it all the time, he is just finishing up year 2 on the same eraser wheel and it is still in very good condition. | |

| I agree. I would be afraid to use that on my paint! I am going to have to remove some dealer logos when I get the new ride. I told the last dealership, You just got a 34K sale! I will not advertise for you as well! They should be paying us to leave the sticker on MY car! | |

| If you tell them at time of purchase, they will remove them. If you get it home and its the hard plastic kind, saw that off with dental floss, and then remove residue with wd-40 or goo-gone. Then wipe with alcohol to remove lubricant and wax car.
If you have the stick on vinyl, just heat them up with a hair dryer (or heat gun <-- be careful) and then remove them with your fingernail, then remove adhesive the same way.
